a great page turner – loved it! this book had everything; a peek into the legal world, great characterisation, compelling darkness complemented with a lightness of humour as well as a satisfying ending – a must read.
Great read I enjoyed this story. We get introduced to Natalie Bach who I liked.Nearing forty years old sheâs returned home to care for her mother. Sheâs also dealing with being dumped by her boyfriend for no reason. A positive is she gets offered her old job as a solicitor. When the bosses son is arrested for attempted murder she must find the truth..thatâs easier said than done.This is a good read that I read in an afternoon. Life in a solicitors office Natalie is a 30 something single woman who returns home. She falls back into her old job at a solicitors and lives with her Mum.I enjoyed the story, it didn’t have the suspense I thought it would. I liked the day to day descriptions of life in the office. The writing style was such that it was like watching a TV show. There was the love interest as well as the office dramas and crimes.
