So disappointed I was really looking forward to reading something new from Sylvia Day. Been a massive fan of the Crossfire series and desperately wanted to like this. Unfortunately, this was a total waste of my time and money. The characters were weak, there was a totally unnecessary reference to a number of characters from the Crossfire books, and the story was so short that it made it impossible for the personalities to develop and for me to start caring what happens to them. The twist at the end was a WTF…

A beautiful story of love, loss and new beginnings. I am still in shock! I loved the storyline and loved the characters. We follow Garrett and Teagan from their initial “collision” in the first chapter. The chemistry between them is instant, but they are both dealing with traumatic pasts, both battling to keep their heads above water. Garrett keeps pushing Teagan to accept their attraction and move forward but Teagan is much more reticent. Eventually of course, their chemistry is too great to ignore.
