Wonderful read but….. I loved 9 out of 10 of this story. The characters came to life like people you knew and yet you shared their innermost secrets which were reflected in their behaviour. Good strong character descriptions especially Oli’s children and I just loved Tom. I loved the empathic sub plot of Hope and how the author obviously fills you in on her detailed knowledge of children, pets and family life and all the little things we all do but don’t think about. A lovely heartwarming read! I want to move to Conwenna Cove and adopt a greyhound. Darcie always successfully manages to weave a bit of magic and transport you away from the mundane and into a delightful cosy seaside cottage whatever the season. I can’t get enough the characters are so real they feel like new friends that you wish you could meet.More of the same please Darcie! X
