A must read, recommended buy As a keen amateur photographer interested in macro photography and familiar with Robert Thompsons work, I pre-ordered this book as soon as I knew it was available. The estimated delivery was 3rd Nov, so I was delighted when I was informed that it would be delivered on the 21st Oct.I certainly was not disappointed. A must have read for macro and close up students Robert Thompson has a track record of great publications and Close-up and Macro Photography its Art and Fieldcraft Techniques is no exception. This a clear and unambiguous adventure into a world of the science/practice of close up and macro photography. The new students and old hands of the genre will derive great benefit of Thompson’s years of practice in the field. Interesting comments, tips and in depth descriptions abound in this superb publication. Most highly recommended.
Very good book. Lovely book, just about everything you need to do with macro..The only thing I found is that not everybody can afford cameras and equipment like that so will never be able to take pictures anywhere near that good. Sadly..
