Crusaders This is another great book from the historian Dan Jones. Before reading Crusaders I’d already read three of his other books (The Plantagenets, The Hollow Crown, The Templars) and, in all honesty, you couldn’t get more clearer written accounts of history. His books in fact read like best-selling novels, but at the same time provide the reader with insights into historical periods that other writers find difficult to communicate to the average, interested reader like myself.
