The brilliant Joy Ellis never disappoints With thanks to Joffe Books for my ARC. I started this book with high expectations, Nikki Galena and her team are one of my favourite reads. This, as always, lived up to my expectations. I love the recent involvement of the âGolden Girlsâ. Taught, great plotting, characters that are so well written they are like family and so readable that I have to devour in one sitting. Please never give up writing these!!
Who will die next? This is the 10th in the series and the books just continue to get better. DI Nicky Gallenia and Sargent Joseph Easter are caught up in a campaign of terror and killing during the towns dark festival. It stretches everyone to the limit and even threatens their own relationship. A great read. Well paced and another great book from Joy Ellis.
Another winner Another instalment in the Nikki Galena series. I have to say I thought this was one of the best yet. Nikki and Joseph are together, albeit on the quiet. Nikkiâs mum, Eve, and her friends make an appearance as does Vinnie, itâs like visiting with old friends. Murderous happenings at the Dark Greenborough Festival makes this a book you want to finish no matter what time of the day it is. I loved it.
