Great travel guide My brother and his wife are visiting Thailand soon so they were delighted to receive this travel guide. New edition which works fairly well This is the first ânewâ edition of the DK guide to Thailand. From late 2018 new DK Eyewitness guides have a new form factor – gone is the glossy paper and a number of building cross-sections and street plans in favour of a lightweight paper and a greater use of photos. DK stress that the books are now easier to carry as they are not so bulky. Another excellent guide in the DK Series This guide covers Bangkok and the rest of Thailand very well. It is very well illustrated, and has great maps of the areas covered. It has 20+ pages on each of the various areas of Thailand from the far north to the deep south and has loads of info on getting around, what to do before you go, walks you can take, brief history of the country. an elementary phrase book, things to whet your appetite.
