Sample Tours are the best The beauty of ordering online with Amazon, is you tend to get what you pay for. The travel guide arrived the very day that was expected and thank goodness because I was taking my family to France the very next day. This is a great guidebook, absolutely packed with really useful information. I really like how the book creates sample travel tours which you can simply emulate and use. good guide, but only four pages on Bordeaux Good guide, but a little disappointed it only has about four pages on Bordeaux out of the whole book.

Rather disappointing in its limited brief. Pretty pictures take the place of useful information I bought this guide because the alternative appeared to be the Michelin guide for the Dordogne which seems to assume you want to drive everywhere, even giving you touring routes. This one is hardly better. There is no mention of other ways of seeing this beautiful area of France. For example, we camped near Castelnaud la Chapelle, surrounded by cycling and walking routes. Our best day was spent cycling from the site up a foot path (some of which we had to walk) to Domme and then back by road on…
