Great for Productivity I have written more through the help and guidance of this book (which is plentiful to say the least). There are lots of writing exercises leaving you with a ton of actual work. Some of these I thought I would find dull to be quite honest, however, I found that I enjoyed them all immensely. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in beginning to learn to write SF (or just in general) or if like myself you just needed to know a little bit more. Insightful read I felt like the author was leading me by the hand through the daunting maze that is writing and being published. I am currently writing my own book and I keep coming back to this guide which offers advice that is easy to follow and the advice helps to asses writing through the eyes of an author since I needed a more critical eye when creating a story and this book acts as the critical lens to counter the rose coloured lenses.
Highly recommend This book has been a helpful guide while writing my own science fiction novel. The layout is clear and concise and each section is categorised for whatever stage of the writing process you have reached.
