A step back in time to find love; love, 18th century style.

Kayla Hunter, a young woman, works all hours for her baking business, Let Them Eat Deliciousness, with hopes one day of having some success. One sunny June morning, travelling to Averstane Hall, a grand estate, hopeful of getting orders at the wedding fair, suddenly the day Kayla assumes she will have vanishes. Believing it will be a day discussing wedding cakes, but instead she wakes up in 1786.

Literally, Kayla is woken up in the 18th century by a man dressed as a historical romantic lead from a film. A look that might have been fashionable a couple of hundred years ago, but still it is a mighty fine look. It is understandable why Kayla can’t help but be struck by the handsome, Harry Averstane, the Georgian landowner of Averstane Hall. A man who swept her up from the ground and carried her to safety.

Assuming she has landed in an 18th century immersion event, but soon, Kayla understands that might not be the case. Invited to stay at Averstane Hall by Harry, Kayla is relieved to stay somewhere that she knows; Averstane Hall was a place she often visited as a child. Visited as a paying guest with her mother and father, but now Kayla is a guest: an actual guest! Kayla is part of a Georgian summer party!

There is much fun to be had, but Kayla senses there is an important purpose to why she travelled back in time to the strange but fun, and certainly intriguing 18th century. It can’t all be fun, and as someone used to hard work, and importantly someone who has faced much pain in her life, Kayla is determined to solve the puzzle of why she stepped back in time to the 1700s. Solve the riddle, but also, ponder on the deliciousness of the striking and gracious host, Harry Averstane. A man she believes is her destiny.

Will Kayla discover the true reason for her journey to 1786 or will it remain a riddle she can’t fathom out? A riddle that involves the Averstane family, and importantly, Kayla is key to it. She must remember; time is against her.
