the thickness of the yellow pages My issue with books like this, and for a country like China, it’s so damn big and heavy.I dare say there is an electronic version, and it’s probably cheaper. I bough this for a pal who is going to China, and because of the weight of it, there is no way they will actually take this on his trip. If he does, it’ll be this first thing that he leaves behind to free space for all the stuff he’ll buy.My advice buy, and gift the electronic version, downloadable to their phone or tablet.
As expected Good book with exactly what you would expect from a lonely planet travel guide.Would recommend.Only improvement would be more maps.
Informative and detailed Bought for my girlfriend, she was pleased with it. Very detailed, you can’t go wrong with Lonely planet. As someone else pointed out it is quite bulky and not easy to carry around.
