Very good but not perfect Undeniably useful, and it is clearly updated and rewritten since the old edition I had.On the other hand, much of it reads more like a tourist brochure with mouthwatering descriptions and very few negatives rather than the gritty Lonely Planet of old. A couple of examples: for Arki there are references to “secluded, sandy beaches”, “several sandy coves…along…the north side of the bay”, and “a good sandy beach” on the southeast coast. Doesn’t that sound…

Nothing about Corfu. If you are going to Corfu like myself, do not bother buying this book. There are exactly 12 pages on it in a 600-page long book. Very disappointed.

Great useful and informative book Love the lonely planet guides, we bought one for Bali and Lombok and found it to be very useful and informative we just had to buy another one for the Greek islands, again great info and found it to be very useful when visiting Fiskardo, taking it to Zante in May too, brilliant buy.
