Good for a pre-read but not to use on the go Some fantastic recommendations and I would have been lost (literally) without it – however the way the actual guide is laid out is extremely difficult to use! Information about restaurants, sights, shopping etc. in an area is in one section, the map of that area in a completely different section, and the key to that map in another section! I found this a bit difficult to actually understand where to find some of the attractions that were explained.I’d use this guide as a pre-read…

I love the Lonely Planet series and find the books very … I love the Lonely Planet series and find the books very useful. You can find everything online as well but these books are just such a good summary of everything you need to know plus much more when you travel. I even booked accommodation according to the advice of the author. I bought the latest edition which is well-updated and all the info was relevant. Bought this online after I saw it in Waterstones and saved almost £5.
