Recent guide There are very few Maldives guides and this is at least recent. Considering the number of islands, the book is much thinner that usual Lonely Planet guides and smaller than I expected at barely 1cm thick. However, it seems to cover most of the more publicised islands and is probably the best of the bunch. Cannot fault supplier.

A readable and interesting guide This 192-page book – the 10th (printed) edition of October 2018 – is an interesting and readable tourist guide to the Indian Ocean island nation, a chain of atolls and small islands to the south and slightly to the west of India.This is a well-designed and presented guide, with useful maps.
