A page turner as usual- essential if you want to continue reading the series. I love this series usually but this book was the weakest. Without giving spoilers away, the ending felt a little âand they lived happily ever afterâ. Donât get me wrong, there was still some loss and chaos but it wrapped up a lot neater than the human trafficking scenario probably should have. Maybe Iâm a bit of a cynic but I felt like the possibility of the ending happening the way it did, was very tiny. I was happy for the characters but I couldnât shake the feeling that it just didnât feel…
Lost and found Creed Again a gem of a book from Alex Kava. I just love where she is going with these characters and how each of her books deals with real life issues. This one with human trafficking. The importance of family – real and surrogate. Rehabilitation of injured military personnel. I just love the addition of Jason the injured ex-soldier as a dog handler. The appreciation of all dogs great and small. And this slow brewing romance between the protagonists Maggie and Ryder. Can’t wait for the next book…
Really well written This is a fantastic book and shows in great detail how human trafficking happens every day across the states. This story about Ryders hunt for his missing sister shows how families never give up and what it can do to a family when someone goes missing. As with all her books in this series the dogs are awesome
