With the trust of top law enforcement undermined by political scandal, the Attorney General is compelled to create the National Investigation Agency (NIA), to be the nation’s final arbiter of impartial justice.

The elite group of handpicked federal agents is pressed upon to address the highest level of organized crime and government corruption. These are their case files.
In Lottery, the inaugural case for the NIA, a veteran Chicago sports reporter finds his paper acquired and his sport’s column canceled. His new editor offers him the assignment to investigate the drowning death of a recent lottery winner. After hitting multiple roadblocks, he realizes he is out of his league and hires a private investigator to help move the investigation forward. The more they discover, the more sinister the conspiracy becomes. With his life on the line, exposing the truth becomes the only way out.
