Some real diamonds in here Although I’m new to crime writing, I have written other stuff over the years. People have recommended various books on this genre; some helpful, some not so, but I am really enjoying this one. Yes, you are supposed to do the exercises as you work though, but I just sat with a cuppa and read through the first few chapters and there are some real diamonds in here. An example is on the use of adjectives – don’t use too many, except when you want to hide something from your readers attention…
