Didnât disappoint Best seller, very good read.
A superb range of characters. It is a while since I last read a novel by Jeffery Archer. I was drawn to this book as it is described as the first in a series. It features a young man, William Warwick who joins the Metropolitan Police, much to the chagrin of his father who is an eminent QC.It is often difficult for an author to create a strong storyline, whilst introducing the recurring characters of a series. Disappointing but enjoyably easy to read I have been a Jeffrey Archer fan for decades and was pleased to receive a free e-ARC of this first book in his latest series from NetGalley and the publishers in exchange for an honest review.The book started with a rather unbelievable scene in which a rookie copper noticed something that seasoned detectives had missed.
