Overpriced and insufficiently detailed. Kindle version is poorly formatted. This textbook is a useful starting point for A Level students, but it’s incredibly overpriced for what it is – there’s very little detail, and a number of important topics are covered so briefly it’s laughable. The social and cultural history of the period has suffered particularly, with subjects such as race relations from 1979-2007 restricted to a single page.
