Not quite sure what I expected, but I had hoped for more information other than simply images. This isn’t dissing the author/publisher, but I expected text and pictures. I got a lot of the latter and too little of the former to allow me to fully appreciate the Stonewall riots. And, images are small and with a lot of characters whose names I didn’t recognise. Maybe I’d have appreciated this more had the subjects been more prominent, and more info about them given.ARC courtesy of OR books and NetaGalley, for my reading pleasure.

A good coffee table book! This is an interesting collection of photos and stories. I enjoyed McDarrah’s photographs and the accompanying tales of those in the photo. This is a great coffee table book.
