As we know that in 2015, more than 44,000 Americans has died by suicide—if we make calculation means one death every 12 minutes, as the Health and Human Services Department put it. The entire suicide rate has grown by nearly 30 % gone over than the previous 15 years, motivation some to call it a new public health crisis.
Albert Y. Hsu knows this reality personally. After Nine months the Intervarsity Press senior editor got married, and he received a phone call from his mother. Her mother said him that his father killed himself. When he heard that news, they were very sad and Hsu and his wife already had plans to meet his parents. His 58-year-old dad was in unseen condition after a stroke had left him partially debilitated and gravely depressed. After his father death Hsu research and want to know the truth, the results of that he found their way into Grieving a Suicide: A Loved One’s Search for Comfort, Answers, and Hope (Intervarsity Press), it was first published in 2002 and re-released this year.

After all then Hsu spoke with assistant editor Morgan Lee about the inner conflict of grieving a suicide, the best and worst ways his relatives and friends responded to his pain, and finally ending one’s own life find himself guilty and reached a Christian to hell.

Why we lose someone who’s our loved?

Counselors call this kind of sorrow a complicated sorrow or a complicated bereavement because grievers are really belongs with two realities: trauma and grief. The sorrow of losing a loved one is expected and normal, but with suicide is totally full of grief and gives a very effect. We know that everyone will die but that type of losing life is not right. Because it’s leave a very bad impact on our new generation. In treating a suicide, there is no easy path to peace and the grief journey cycles through all sorts of different emotions and feelings.

So that is very important to realize that this grief will strike you in many different ways of life.
