This Christmas Card has so much to offer. 4.5 stars would be a fairer assessment for me of this well chosen ( overall) anthology. As ever the introductions from Martin Edwards add so much more to the enjoyment . The first reviewer has skilfully listed all the authors with comments with which I agree for the most part .For me the stories by SelwynJepson/Cyril Hare/Julian Symons /John Bingham/Ronald Knox are all clear 5 star winners; concise/pithy /yet all with that added extra which a great short story should have. 4 stars…

Enjoyable read! This was yet another enjoyable and readable book of short stories and I do hope that they keep on publishing them! There is something very satisfying about a well written short story! I liken them to the literary equivalent of a delicious snack!
