An excellent read I thoroughly enjoyed the second book in the Eric Ward series. It centres on a farming family and explores tensions within the family, gradually revealing the historical reasons for these. I found it difficult to put the book down as the story developed and the family members became more desperate and turned on each other. The story of the central character, Eric Ward, formerly a policeman and now a practising solicitor, continues to develop and I hope there will be more books in this series so…
