What a trip! What a thoroughly enjoyable memoir. I do enjoy books about travel and adventure and this one hit the spot! The author and his wife Kim decide to have a touring holiday around Spain and Portugal with a plan to visit the ‘furthest points’ of the Iberian Peninsula. It’s quite a challenge and one which Andy describes so well. Fantastic, funny and entertaining read! I really enjoyed this book. On the surface, it’s a story about a couples bike trip through Portugal and Spain, but the book delivers much more than that. Andy does a wonderful job of capturing history relating to many places they visit on their travels, much of which I didn’t know and found interesting to learn about.
