Not Madly Exciting but Worth a Look Although itâs relatively easy to guess the plot threads throughout, this is an enjoyable read. Wow, that was a rollercoaster of a book! I feel like I have experienced every emotion there is just reading The Glass Tower. The Tower itself and the surrounding countryside is so well described that the reader is able to visualise it all very clearly. Julia Otterly first appears in the story as someone I liked and sympathised with, but oh boy did that soon change when the real Julia made an appearance!
