A great summary of Gothic History. The Goths by Captivating History is an enjoyable and enlightening read and I would highly recommend it. I didn’t really know much about the period before I read it and the book was pitched perfectly to keep me interested and informed at the same time. It is not an in-depth study of the period, but then it doesn’t proport be, instead it summarises key events, rulers, the culture and religion of the Gothic people. On a more petsonal note, as I’m going to Italy later this year it has given me more…
