Had this on order. So glad I did . Great read Love Ruthâs character. Read the first book and was desperate for book 2 , which did not disappoint. Intrigue in north Wales. Even more interesting if you know anything about the area or have visited. Great storyline, and believable characters. Well worth reading this terrific police procedural thriller set in North Wales If you like crime thrillers that are strong on plot, atmosphere and characterisation then I think you will enjoy The Harlech Beach Killings. It is a terrific police procedural novel, and,in my opinion, even better than the first book in the series (The Snowdonia Killings). While it helps to have read the The Snowdonia Killings, it is not an essential requirement as the story lines are not related. The Harlech Beach Killings is gripping. The Harlech Beach Killings is the second crime thriller in the DI Ruth Hunter series. The lives of the main characters are further developed and we are treated to another exciting storyline. Itâs a worthy follow up to The Snowdonia Killings and Iâm eagerly awaiting the next book. I found both books kept me involved throughout and read them without a break. A great new author to follow. Iâd recommend both books to anyone who enjoys crime thrillers with good characterisation.
