For fans of Harlan Coben and Shari Lapena, and from the bestselling author of LIES take a holiday you won’t forget . . .

Seven days. Three families. One killer.

It was supposed to be the perfect holiday, dreamed up by Kate as the ideal way to turn 40: four best friends and their husbands and children in a luxurious villa under the blazing sunshine of Provence.

But there is trouble in paradise. Kate suspects that her husband is having an affair, and that the other woman is one of her best friends.

One of these women is willing to sacrifice years of friendship and destroy her family. But which one? As Kate closes in on the truth in the stifling Mediterranean heat, she realises too late that the stakes are far higher than she ever imagined.

Because someone in the villa is prepared to kill to keep their secret hidden.

Beautifully written and completely captivating summer read A magnificent read: had me hooked from the first chapter and couldn’t put this down( wished I had kept it for my holidays) beautifully and captivating in its style of writing and the scene is set — well done on a great work here. A book that I wanted to continue well beyond the final page- excellent.

A jolly good holiday read I thoroughly enjoyed this- it’s a really decent thriller and keeps you captivated. I wouldn’t have said the characters are entirely likeable but they are flawed as real people and that makes it slightly more believable.University friends and their respective families reunite for a trip to France and it al goes terribly wrong in spectacular fashion. In some ways, it’s reads initially as a bit of a chick lit book, but soon becomes much more than this, with a twist you won’t see…

So So Story Not the thriller I was expecting. More of a convoluted family drama with a twist.I found it too long and contrived. Kate comes across as a deluded woman who suddenly morphs into the pro CSI that she is, but which you’d forgotten while plodding through a too-long set-up.OK, but not edge of the seat stuff. Holiday reading needs more pace.
