A so-called detective story One of, if not the worst, books I have read.If this is how the police force operates it is a total disgrace. Angel is a racist bully who enjoys belittling his Asian cadet. He treats all his subordinates with abuse in the name of humour.The plot is as full of holes as a sieve. All in all I consider the book a waste of a few hours.

Keep with it, you’ll be glad. I’ve given this book 4 stars because it took me ages to get into it. Once I did however, I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the next one. There are a lot of storylines going on and I was confused to start with and I nearly gave up but I’m glad I didn’t.
