Aaron Fraser was that child. Back then he still bore his father’s name – Haim, but later took on that of his step-parents. Quite understandably, his feelings towards his father remain bitter and confused.
It was early in 1993 that Bonnie Haim disappeared. Just a couple of weeks before she had been opening Christmas presents with her young son – he was only three at the time. This special family moment was caught on camera by her husband Michael. It should have been a time of domestic bliss but whatever happiness the camera suggested was far from the truth.
