Not as competent as the Undead This is a competently written science fiction book with fairly well developed characters. The pace of the book and writing is good and keeps the reader interested. However it is never going to be a Hugo or Novella winner nor in the same class as Heinlen, Asimov, or Card against which all great science fiction is measured.
