Just remember to breathe.

Alex is sinking. Slowly but surely, she’s cut herself off from everything but her one true love – drink. Until she’s forced to write a piece about a coma ward, where she meets Amy.

Alex and Amy grew up in the same suburbs, played the same music, flirted with the same boys. And as Alex begins to investigate the attack, she opens the door to the same danger that has left Amy in a coma…

I have had this book on my Kindle since its day of release so figured it was about time to bump to the top of my TBR and I was glad I did!Amy is the silent but vital character in this story; brutally attacked as a 15 year old she has been in a coma ever since. Alex is a troubled journalist who stumbles across Amy’s case when she is investigating PVS (persistent vegative state) and becomes fascinated with her. Amy’s attacker was never found and Alex is determined to find out more…
