A carefully researched study This text is something of a classic and had been a great resource for learners and enthusiasts for years now. Don’t expect a prettily illustrated, easily approachable tome, however, this book is very much academic, and it approaches the topic of the development of the language as we know it today through a careful narrative which provides you with a heap of facts, and it’s up to you to keep up!
