Too much sexy times get in the way of story I picked this up thinking it was a historical romance, but it really isn’t. It’s more of a weird romance-erotica hybrid, by which I mean the trappings of a romance novel are present, but the characters spend as much time having sex as they do building a relationship or having a plot.Because of that, the plot itself is never developed very well (too rushed), the characters never have sufficient time for their growth to feel organic rather than forced (again, it’s all too rushed)…
