My name is Jason Hart.

As the best defensive lineman in the country, I eat, sleep and breathe football. And I like it that way. I’ve only got a few more years before I’ll have to retire, so expending energy on anything other than football seems like a waste of time.

That is, until I have a random meeting with a little boy that just lost his father. We have more in common than you might think and it creates an unlikely bond. As our friendship grows, so do my feelings for his mother.

I know Addison, as a recent widow, isn’t ready to date again. But I want to get to know her better, in spite of all her rejections.

Is it possible that I, a self-proclaimed bachelor, could be having a Change of Hart?

“Change of Hart is an impressive debut for M.E. Carter. With just the right mix of sexy and sweet, laugh out loud one-liners and relatable characters, Carter immerses readers in a story that’s much more than just a romance. I can’t wait to see what’s next for her.” –Brenda Rothert, Bestselling Author of the “Fire on Ice” series

“A fun and refreshing love story that is sure to put a smile on your face.” –Kathryn Perez, Author of “THERAPY”, “Sex Unlimited,” “Love and Truth” and “Jessica’s Journal”

“A sweet, sexy, touching story of romance and friendship. Definitely a touchdown”. –AE Woodward, Author of “Kismet” and “Working Girl”

“Real people get second chances at love too. Beautifully written with humor, romance and just the right amount of surprise. A must read!” -Dawn L. Chiletz, Author of “The Contest”

3.5 Nice Read Stars The first chapter of this book had me hooked and I did enjoy the story overall. I rated it at 3 stars because it just felt like something was missing. The epilogue (which is gorgeous) was from Addison’s POV but the whole of the book was from Jason’s viewpoint and I think it would have benefited from mixing up with Addison’s because at times she came across as quite cold and detached. Not wanting to put in any spoilers but the reason for the drama towards the end was a bit irritating. I couldn’t…

A fantastic story I really enjoyed this book, it was sweet and lighthearted, plus the story was told throughout from the male pov and this was the first time I had read a book like this which actually made the whole story more enjoyable. I really loved Jason, I expected him to be arrogant and full of himself but he wasn’t and I really liked the fact the relationship between Jason and Jaxon was cemented before you meet Addison and that the eventual relationship between Jason and Addison wasn’t at all rushed. So…

5 Star Debut M E Carter Loved this book from the first Chapter had to read it in one seating. What I really liked about this book that it was that the author did not over describe things, to be honest I don’t care if the kicthen is stainless steel with state of the art appliances I would rather read about the characters more and this is what this book does. An excellent debut for M E Carter looking forward to more of your books 😉
