Its ok but you will need Maps Sorry to have given a 3 star but as always with travel books they always have great big splashes of photos but not many words on each place.Travel books should be compact with great information for the traveller. I am going to a wedding in NZ next year and want to plan a trip of a lifetime.Don’t get me wrong this book is helpful but not much info about the smaller places. Maps are not too clear either.
The book is great, it can be used for getting started The book is great, it can be used for getting started: learn about the history of the country, getting an insight of the culture, there are photos about how the local money looks like, notes and coins. I have never seen this before in any travel book.Once finished reading about the region you want to visit, you would still need to do researches. You might want to look into what websites offer as there are much more in New Zealand than the book shows.
