DK Books are quality! You can’t really go wrong with DK books. They are packed with information and I used to have a good read of these when I worked for a local bookstore. These books are for all ages however a lot of parents buy these for children as they are very child friendly. I work in a school so I more often than not these type of books end up in our school library when I’ve had a good read. This one might not make it there as it useful to refer back to depending on what’s being covered in the classroom.

If it’s worth knowing, it has it. All-in-all I was very pleased with the product. Book is large and has a high-quality feel. Illustrations are consistent and liven up the pages. I thought it very thorough in summing up the decades but don’t expect a highly detailed account of events. However, when it matters the author dedicates 1-2 pages to further delve into an event.

Vey happy with this book Brilliant. Excellent illustrations and pictures. Great for reference. Keep for a lifetime of study and interest. It is the sort of book that I would buy again for another child and would certainly recommend to family and friends.
