Ideal companion Really good. We’ve used these lonely planet books on other trips and it was for us invaluable. Loads of content and all helpful. Regret left it on a wine tour but towards the end of our trip. We will be back and I’ll purchase another copy then.

Rather thin for such a large area Usual LP style but disappointingly thin and therefore short on detail. Possibly useful for an overview when researching. Purchased as the only Lonely Planet guide that covers the Rocky Mountain National Park – it’s a shame that they don’t still publish the full Rocky Mountains book. All other areas we are visiting are covered in more detail in other books.
