You won’t find a more informative holiday/travel book than this one! Fantastic book. There are approximately 24 pages dedicated to each and every month of the year which includes; best places to visit, climate and temperatures, what to do in each place on a short break, week or 2 week trip and whether it’s family friendly/leave the kids at home, good value or expensive. At the end of the write up for each country is a pie chart in the shape of a suitcase, this shows it’s suitability for; wildlife and nature, culture, food and drink, relaxation, adventure and…
The content of the book seems very good as far as I can tell The content of the book seems very good as far as I can tell…just don’t buy the Kindle version as it’s appalling, its a forced A3 Landscape mode using the tiniest fonts they could. Just unreadable…did no-one at Lonely Planet test this???
AN AMAZING BOOK I struggle year upon year trying to decide where to go, what season is best, what budget i need etc. So many hours have been spent researching a location and then realising that it was the wrong time of year. I truly think everyone should own this book – it is so so useful. It was meant to be a gift once i opened it i decided it had to be mine…. genuinely an amazing book. Beautifully written and presented also
