Holy Mary! Second in the series and I have already fallen in love. Not only with the DI, but with Norfolk.The story is a gripping thriller of a whodunit and although I kind of figured out who, I didn’t figure out why. I love tales like this!A mystery, death and dishonour are abound and you would be wise to not put this book down until you have finished it!Excellent

Excellent Interesting storyline with twists and turns to keep the reader guessing right to the end. The relationship between Tanned and Evans is progressing albeit with a few minor hiccups. I’m looking forward to the next one.

Gripping The welcome return of DI John Tanner and DC Jenny Evans. I read this gripping story in a day, I just couldn’t put it down. The story is clever with many twists and turns and DI Tanner finds himself in several dangerous, life threatening situations. It had me on the edge of my seat and as for the ending, well I didn’t see that coming! Well done David Blake, I am eagerly looking forward to book three.
