If you love 2001, you will love this This book is a MUST if you love the film. There is a lot of data here over and above Piers Bizony’s work. The first thing that struck me was the quantity of data, drawings and blueprints. Harry Lange (HL) generated so much detailed work for the film and luckily for us Chris Frayling dug this out of Lange’s garage and with the help of HL’s son, produced this excellent book. Having had the privilege of meeting HL back in Minehead in 1993 during the Space expo there with Arthur C Clarke, I only…
