Definitely one of my top books for 2018 And now, as they say, for something, well not completely different, but still! We start off seeing Elizabeth Beaumont and her boyfriend Max discussing their wedding in passing as they try to find time to spend with each other in the midst of busy careers. I loved seeing Eliazabethâs work in a magazine and could understand her passion for a job. Wonderful! Having just finished a rather tense thriller I felt in need of a lighter read and this book certainly did the trick. Elizabeth had booked a cottage at Hope Cove for a holiday for herself and her fiance but at the last moment Phil couldn’t make it so she went alone.
