Religion, Sex, Drama. This book was NOT what I was expecting and had a sort of a Handmaidens Tale vibe. I want to sing Clarissa’s praises on this one, but in all honesty, there were quite a few times in the book where it was touch and go. Fantastic read Wow what an amazing story. Iâve been reading this authors books for about six years. Each book I read Iâm more in awe than before. Under His Rule was an epic read. Extremely dark but fabulous Before reading this I read the prequel and was glad that I did as it gives you the beginning of the story. A very exciting and dark tale with really complex characters both the main characters are strong which is good concerning the story theme.
